Outreach Program from Manasa on Learning Disabilities

Outreach programme was presented to Adichunchagiri School today. Both the principal and the teachers gave us very positive feedback.

The program’s goal is to increase instructors’ knowledge of learning difficulties so they can spot kids who have them, provide support for them, and implement interventions to treat them.

 

The Manaspoorthi Learning Centre has been discussed by Mrs. Ranagnayaki, including the motivation behind its founding, its vision, and its missions. Counsellor Mr. Ganesh Rao sir, has mentioned the academic issues that the younger generation is facing as well as some of the child cases that he has dealt with in the course of his profession. concerning learning problems, and generalize. Ms. Ganavi, a psychologist has discussed learning disorders, their forms, and symptoms, as well as how to spot them in children and what teachers should do when they spot a pupil with a disability.

 

The teachers of Adhichunchagiri school asked a lot of questions, and answers were provided.

Identifying learning problems and learning disabilities of school children at early age will help the child to learn confidently as its upper grades…

 

Manaspoorthi Child Guidance Center provides holistic approach to help all children having academic difficulties. On 22/07/2023 an orientation and awareness programme was organized for teachers at Oxford school and St Joseph’s School, Shivamogga.

 

Dr. Aftab Ahmed Maldar Psychiatrist, Manasa Nursing Home spoke about Nature and types of learning disability. Ms. Ganavi, Psychologist Manaspoorthi spoke about identifying learning disabilities and causes. Mrs. Ranganayaki, special educator and Co ordinator Manaspoorthi spoke about Manaspoorthi Child guidance center.

 

The teacher participants gave their positive feedback about the programme.

Honoured to be starting an association with Ripples of Change foundation (ROCF) in collaborating to promote community mental health by starting “Voice That Cares” program. This is a free telephone helpline available to provide psychosocial first aid through trained volunteers & psychologists. Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial institute (KAPMI) will help through training volunteers, developing strategies & providing human resource for the same.

ವಿಶ್ವ ಯೋಗ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು.

9ನೇ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯೋಗ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಜನಿ ಪೈ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಶಾನ್ ಬಾಗ್, ಶ್ರೀ ವಾಮನ್ ಶಾನ್ ಬಾಗ್ ಇವರ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಷಾ ಇವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಯೋಗದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು, ದಿನನಿತ್ಯ ಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಆಗುವ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ ಯೋಗಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದರು.

 

ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಬಾಬು ಇವರು ಯೋಗ ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವ, ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸರಳ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ. ಎಲ್ವಿನ್ ರವರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಂಗನಾಯಕಿ ಮೇಡಂ ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.

 

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೋಧಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು.
